Prague has a way of making you forget what century you're in. Even before sunrise, Charles Bridge is alive with footsteps and quiet conversations. The sky glows pink above the Gothic towers as the Vltava flows beneath the bridge. More than four centuries ago, astronomer Johannes Kepler lived nearby on Karlova Street. He walked this same bridge on his way to the imperial court at Prague Castle. Standing on those centuries-old stones, it's remarkable to think you're following in the footsteps of a man who changed how we understand the universe.
