Rights, Clearances & Licensing

If you acquired a numbered edition of Hush, Threshold, or Soundcheck, your investment is protected by contract and professional ethics.

Limited edition works are never licensed for mass reproduction, open retail runs, corporate merchandise, or guest-room cloning. If a boutique hotel, corporate headquarters, or private members’ club displays a limited edition piece on their walls, they acquired an original numbered physical edition directly from the catalogue. It carries its edition number, its registry entry, and its certificate of authenticity.

The studio does not sell digital reproduction rights to commercial printers for cheap bulk reproduction. The limited edition cap is permanent.

Editorial licensing is available for book covers, monographs, academic journals, documentary media, and design publications.

• Eligible projects: high-circulation design and architecture titles, fine art reviews, historical publications, and museum catalogues.
• Requirements: standard single-use, non-exclusive editorial rights. All editorial uses require explicit credit: Photograph © Sherry Keene / Keene Fine Art.
• Digital files: delivered as calibrated, high-resolution master TIFFs directly to the publication art director or prepress team.

For production designers, art directors, and set decorators seeking legal clearance to feature Keene Fine Art works on camera.

• On-set art clearances: physical pieces acquired or rented for active sets, film productions, and television broadcasts require formal copyright clearance agreements before filming.
• Turnaround: standard clearances are processed within two business days. Rush clearances can be accommodated upon request.
• Scope: clearances grant non-exclusive, synchronized worldwide media rights for the production in perpetuity.

Sherry works closely with interior designers, architects, and corporate art advisors placing original works in luxury residences, corporate suites, and private hospitality spaces.

• Catalogue editions only: trade placements are fulfilled as authentic editions on archival 6mm cast acrylic or museum rag.
• Scale and space advisory: direct consultation with Sherry Keene to ensure proportion, lighting, and finish integrate cleanly with architectural plans.
• No digital dropshipping: every piece is fulfilled directly through regional museum labs to maintain strict color fidelity and build quality.

All imagery, text, and catalogued works on this site are original works by Sherry Keene and are registered with the United States Copyright Office.

• No unauthorized reproduction: no image may be downloaded, reproduced, modified, distributed, or published in physical or digital formats without an executed license agreement signed by the artist.
• AI training ban: express permission is denied for the ingestion, scraping, processing, or tokenization of any imagery on this site for machine-learning models, generative AI platforms, or synthetic image creation. Infringements are monitored and pursued through registered rights management.
