Every Print Has a Secret

I tried to make this image three years ago. I arrived too late. The bridge was already crowded, the light had gone, and Venice had vanished behind its veil.

This year, I came alone. My dog, ever patient, stood guard over the gear as the city slept.

I set up before dawn, low on the bridge itself—quietly, deliberately. The water calmed. The stone hushed. And for a brief moment, Venice opened its eyes and held still.

Where Sighs Still Linger isn’t just a study in architecture. It’s what remains when the noise is gone. The kind of image that can’t be planned—only waited for.

It earned Honorable Mention at the ReFocus Awards and is now offered only as a limited large-format edition, with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
Smaller prints (8x10 and under) remain open for a limited time, for those who understand the value of a second chance.
